Sunday at the Barton Center in Boca Raton was something only seen in the movies.
In the Zone center Julian Gamble committed to Frank Haith and the University of Miami, marking the biggest committment in the history of Team In the Zone.
Playing for Team In the Zone, the North Carolina quartet of Dominique Sutton, Julian Gamble, Lennie Daniels and Mike Lacey made some serious noise securing a number of scholarship offers.
One of the more impressive performances of the weekend came from 6-foot-8 Kevin Foster, a 2008 prospect from Lakeland (Fla.) Kathleen who played with In the Zone.

Miramar PAL just two months was getting blown out of the gym. Two months later the first year travel program pulled off the upset of the Breakdown Hoops Festival knocking off a tournament favorite.
As a team, In the Zone didn't have a good week at the Breakdown Hoops Festival, but individually, Quintel Griffin made the college coaches take notice and probably earned some offers while balling last week.
Team In the Zone came out hitting it's shots, but defensively something was missing as the Ballers clipped In the Zone 78-74 in the opener at the Breakdown Hoops Festival.
The 1st Annual Battle of the Best is now in the books and the Miami Tropics stole the show. Check out the recap of this first annual tournament that will become a staple in South Florida for years to come.
